Renewable Energy
In 2024, 28% of the electricity used by the Group will come from renewable sources. New photovoltaic systems have been installed and electric charging stations for company vehicles have been activated, helping to reduce emissions and save about 30,000 liters of fossil fuel per year.
Carbon Capture
With four active plants, SIAD captured more than 42,000 tons of CO2 in 2024. Some of this is fed back into circular production processes, as at the Rosignano site, where captured CO2 is returned for reuse as raw material.
Commitment to Carbon Neutrality
The SIAD Group has obtained ISCC Plus certification for biogenic CO2, ensuring the traceability and sustainability of the gas throughout the supply chain. This choice enables it to offer customers an impact-neutral product, actively contributing to the decarbonization of the industry and the transition to a low-emissions economy.
Energy Efficiency
By implementing Advanced Process Control (APC), SIAD Macchine Impianti optimizes plant operating parameters, reducing energy consumption and improving productivity. This system is already active in several European plants and enables more sustainable and intelligent resource management.
