Biomethane: clean energy from a natural cycle

We engineer technologies to produce high-quality biomethane and recover high-purity CO2, contributing to decarbonisation and environmental sustainability.

The production of biomethane from biomass and organic waste (including FORSU - Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste) combines a reduction in environmental impact with the generation of clean, self-produced and renewable energy.

Over the years, SIAD has earned a reputation as an innovator in the industry, developing new technologies to improve the quality of biomethane and recover high-purity CO2.

Biomethane production

Biomethane is produced from biomass and organic waste using biogas purification technology. It can be used as a fuel in the same way as natural gas, thereby reducing environmental impact.

SIAD innovation and CO2 recovery

Technological innovation is the watchword that guides the SIAD Group's daily choices and evolutionary processes in a context that is more relevant and cutting-edge than ever: the production of biomethane from biomass and organic waste. Thanks to the experience gained over the years and the versatility of the skills acquired, the SIAD Group offers processes, plants and products for every section of the ‘Waste to Biomethane’ supply chain.

The SIAD Group develops processes, plants and products for every segment of the biomethane supply chain: from anaerobic digestion to biogas upgrading, right through to the ability to recover high-purity CO2 for use on the market. The Biogas Upgrading process allows CO2, known as biogenic CO2, to be recovered.
