Every aspect of the project was a challenge. The main objective was to migrate the entire infrastructure from Assago to the supplier's site with minimal impact on business operations. Changes and additions to the infrastructure to reduce transfer times could create unexpected problems.
Preparation took six months of coordination between application providers, service managers, network and infrastructure engineers, transport carriers and the company itself to understand and manage the processes without the IT infrastructure available.
We simulated every possible scenario and organised the logistics for moving equipment so that any incidents would not compromise the entire project. Rollback scenarios were also evaluated to address unpredictable events.
