Cultural and social initiatives
Opening up to the community, creating bonds and sharing
SIAD is committed to protecting and enhancing the environmental and cultural heritage, and promotes various social and cultural initiatives to give back value to the local community.
SIAD has always acted with the aim of protecting and enhancing social and cultural heritage, promoting a collaborative relationship with institutions and the community to support the economic, social and civil growth and development of the local area.
The SIAD Group has always supported the scientific world through scholarships and outreach projects for institutions and hospitals. By making the best technologies and advanced skills available to Italian scientific research, we confirm our ongoing collaborative relationship with institutions and the community.
BergamoScienza is a science festival that aims to bring science to the public, making it accessible to everyone, especially young people and schools.
The Festival offers numerous free events with the participation of leading figures from the world of research and innovation. To date, the Festival has involved around forty Nobel Prize winners and more than 1,700 researchers, who have taken turns on stage.
The SIAD Group and SIAD Fondazione Sestini have been supporting BergamoScienza as partners for several years. As part of the programme of events, SIAD organises its own educational workshop entitled ‘Full throttle! Discover the world of technical gases’, which uses experiments and interactive games to teach primary and secondary school children about gases and their properties.
More than 1,000 students take part in the workshops every year.
The various activities carried out by SIAD aim to protect and safeguard social and cultural heritage, as well as to promote an ongoing and collaborative relationship with institutions and the community in order to support them in their social, civil and economic growth and development.
