SIAD Whistleblowing

Report unlawful conduct to protect the integrity of the company and the public interest

In accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and national implementing legislation, the SIAD Group promotes a transparent and responsible environment, encouraging the reporting of any unlawful conduct or irregularities that come to light in the workplace.

Who can report

The following individuals may submit reports:

  • Employees and collaborators
  • Suppliers, consultants, interns, and shareholders
  • Anyone who provides services to the SIAD Group, even if the relationship has not yet been formally established
What can be reported

You can report:

  • Violations of the Organisation, Management and Control Model and the Code of Ethics
  • Significant offences in the following areas:
    • Public procurement
    • Financial services and markets, anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism
    • Product, transport and environmental safety
    • Public health, food safety and animal welfare
    • Personal data protection and IT security
    • Competition, state aid and EU financial interests

The following are not eligible for reporting:

  • Matters of personal interest (e.g. individual labour disputes)
  • Issues already regulated by sectoral regulations with dedicated channels

How to report

In order to encourage the reporting of any violations, SIAD has established a series of internal channels available through the ‘Comunica Whistleblowing’ IT platform.

Through the Platform, Whistleblowers can:

  • make written reports: by sending a report, creating a password and assigning a ‘Report Number’ with which to monitor the status of the report;
  • make verbal reports: using the option provided (with automatic modification of the voice to make it unrecognisable);
  • reports by requesting a direct meeting: requesting a direct meeting with the Report Manager.

Processing of personal data

All personal data will be processed in accordance with personal data protection legislation and in full compliance with fundamental rights and freedoms, with particular regard to the confidentiality of the identity of the individuals involved and the security of the processing.

The platform is structured in such a way as to ensure compliance with the principles of personal data protection and maximum confidentiality, so that only the Report Manager and those involved in the management of the Report can access sensitive data and relevant information.
