Metrology Laboratory. LAT Center No. 143

The SIAD Specialty Gas Laboratory is devoted to the production and analysis of pure and extra pure gases and gas mixtures.

The Laboratory has a leading-edge filling system and a wide and diversified range of instruments and tools; it relies on a team of highly skilled technicians with long-standing experience in the field of specialty gases.

Besides high-quality products and services, all this ensures the capacity to quickly adapt the production parameters as a function of user requests, which is confirmed by the wide gamut of gas blends produced.

The results of measurements and calibrations performed are internationally recognized.

Internationally recognized mixtures

Accredia is the Italian Accreditation Body authorized by the Italian State to carry out accreditation activities. 

The results of measurements and calibrations carried out by a SIAD-accredited laboratory are internationally recognized, thanks to mutual recognition agreements signed between the accreditation bodies.

Accreditations

The Laboratory is accredited as RMP Reference Materials Producer No. 143. The LAT Center and RMP Manufacturer are the result of the evolution and refinement of SIAD procedures through which calibration mixtures are prepared.

The SIAD LAT Center is accredited for the following standards:

• UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 for gravimetric and analytical calibration of gas mixtures and analytical measurement equipment..

• UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17034 for the production of certified reference materials.
